Our day care centre opened in 2019 in a quiet residential neighbourhood near the centre of Mecklenbeck. Nearby facilities such as the local library, volunteer fire department and primary school offer a variety of opportunities for outings and exploring our social surroundings. Our friendly interiors are very spacious and flooded with natural sunlight. The different group rooms have been individually designed by the relevant professionals to meet the diverse needs of the children. We also have a spacious outdoor area where our little giants can play and romp to their heart's content.

Open Playground – for ALL Families!

Playground Break: Our nursery playground will be closed during the autumn and winter months.
From March 2026, we’ll be opening it again every last Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m. – for all families with children, regardless of whether your child already attends our nursery.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back in the spring!

Educational concept

We view each child as a unique individual with their own interests, needs and abilities. Our aim is to offer personalised support for the children to facilitate their social development into independent, self-sufficient and confident individuals. We follow a situation-oriented approach to our educational work. Day-to-day life at the daycare centre revolves around topics driven by the children themselves, with a constant focus on their needs and experiences.  

Our philosophy offers a blend of group activities and free play: the children have a regular core group for morning circle time and meals, which gives them a welcome sense of security and belonging. During the rest of the day, they are free to occupy themselves and play with children from other groups in our different activity rooms. The choices include a creative studio, building room, role play area and a quiet room.

Monthly costs

For the daycare year 2024/2025:
The childcare costs are based on the charter of fees issued by the city of Münster. In addition, a monthly flat rate for full board of € 105 for the nursery and € 115 for the kindergarten is payable to the daycare centre provider.

We send our daughter to daycare every morning with a good feeling. The teachers are very sensitive and take the children's individual needs into consideration. For example, when falling asleep, the children are accompanied and carried, held or otherwise calmed according to their preferences. I find this to be very valuable and certainly challenging, especially for the U3 children. Smaller excursions are regularly undertaken, the children spend a lot of time in the fresh air and time is always taken to briefly discuss the child's day when they are picked up. While we were getting used to it, our concerns and questions were taken seriously and we felt very welcomed. For us, what we expected (especially due to the generally difficult staffing situation in daycare centers) did not happen. Since we only have a 35-hour space, we have not yet been affected by cuts in care time.
